Football Holds Single Practice on Wednesday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team practiced in full pads for roughly two hours Wednesday afternoon on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The single practice was the Crimson Tide's eighth of fall camp in preparation for the season-opening contest with the Wisconsin Badgers in the AdvoCare Classic on Sept. 5. The game will take place inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
Practice began at 2:30 p.m. with the team focusing on fundamentals. The Crimson Tide will hold its second two-a-day practice of Fall Camp tomorrow afternoon, with the morning session beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the second practiced scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Following the morning-night split, the Tide will hold a single practice on Friday afternoon and then scrimmage inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
