
Eight More Crimson Tide Players Earn NFL Opportunities

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama saw another impressive list of seven players drafted into the National Football League this past weekend, including three in the first 36 selections. Since the conclusion of the NFL Draft on Sunday, seven more players have earned an opportunity in the NFL.
Six players have signed undrafted free-agent deals while quarterback Blake Sims earned an invitation to the Green Bay Packers minicamp and offensive lineman Leon Brown will tryout at the Jaguars minicamp, bringing Alabama's total of players moving on to the NFL to 15 this offseason.
Linebacker Trey Depriest and safety Nick Perry inked free-agent deals with the Baltimore Ravens while defensive lineman Brandon Ivory signed with the Houston Texans. On the offensive side of the football, tight end Brian Vogler joined the Chicago Bears. Wide receivers DeAndrew White (San Francisco) and Christion Jones (Miami) also signed free-agent contracts.
The Crimson Tide has seen 48 players drafted in the past seven years, including a staggering 17 in the first round and 28 in the first three rounds.
