TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team moved back outside Wednesday afternoon for a two-hour practice in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility.
The Crimson Tide's practice started with a visit from new head men's basketball coach Avery Johnson, who spoke to the team briefly. Once things got underway, Alabama focused in on preparations for Saturday's second scrimmage of the spring. It was the Crimson Tide's 10th practice of spring drills. Alabama will practice in shells on Friday.
Alabama's 2015 Golden Flake A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. (CDT) inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game is once again free to the public and will be broadcast on SEC Network + with Joe Tessitore calling the action, Greg McElroy as the analyst and Shannon Spake reporting from the sidelines.
