Divers Earn Place in NCAA Zone B Day-One Finals

ATHENS, Ga. - Three members of the Alabama swimming and diving team finished in the top-18 of their respective events on day one of the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships on Monday in Athens, Ga.
Sophomore Taylor Zablocki took 16th place in the women's 3-meter springboard after scoring 258.8 points in the finals. She scored 292.60 points during prelims for a two-round total of 551.40.
On the men's side of the slate, sophomore Brent Sagert also finished 16th on day one after posting a two-round total of 577.40 off the 1-meter springboard. Sagert tallied 281.25 points in prelims and followed that up with 296.20 points over his final six dives. Sophomore Dylan Marin took 18th place off the 1-meter after scoring 535.15 points. He scored 295.55 points in prelims followed by 239.60 points in finals.
The Tide men compete off the 1-meter board and the women go off the 3-meter board on Tuesday.
