Alabama Rowing Signs Seven for 2016-17

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama rowing announced the signing of seven new rowers for the class of 2016-17 this week.
"This is the strongest recruiting class we've ever signed at Alabama," head coach Larry Davis said. "[Assistant Coach] Megan Patrick has done a great job putting together this group, which includes our first international athlete. It is a big step forward for our program."
Gabriella Crawford (Milton Keynes, UK) becomes the first international athlete to sign with Alabama rowing. She will be joined by Sydney Boles (Maryville, Tenn.), Peyton Cowell (San Diego, Calif.), Kylie Diffley (New Berlin, Wis.), Sarah Giuliani (Brightwaters, N.Y.), Arielle Schafer (Egg Harbor, N.J.) and Ariana Sweany (Vacaville, Calif.).
