Crimson Tide in the NFL Spotlight: Week 6

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The sixth week of the season in the National Football League featured a pair of conference matchups that pitted former Alabama standouts against one another, including the Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints and New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles. Below is a look at some of the highlights from last week by former Crimson Tide players currently in the NFL.
Mark Ingram helped lead the Saints to a 31-21 win over the Falcons, finishing with 46 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries while also adding three catches for 10 yards. Ingram currently ranks second in the league in yards after catch with 259, while sitting at third in rushing touchdowns (4) and catches among running backs (27).
Julio Jones once again led the Falcons in receiving, notching six catches for 93 yards in the loss to the Saints. He continues to be one of the league's premier receivers, ranking second in total yards with 638 and third in receptions at 49. The former Tide wideout is also fifth in yards after catch in the league with 221 thus far.
Giants safety Landon Collins grabbed his first career interception and added four tackles in a 27-7 loss to the Eagles. He currently ranks second on the Giants in tackles with 33 and is third among all rookies.
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix had a monster performance in the Green Bay Packers 27-20 win over the San Diego Chargers, finishing with eight tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup. Clinton-Dix continues to have a standout season, currently leading the Packers defense in tackles with 43.
Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans helped lead the Philadelphia defense in a 27-7 win over the Giants, ending the game with five tackles, two pass breakups and an interception.
