Alabama Women's Basketball set for 2015 Community Caravan

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama women's basketball team will take part in its second annual Community Caravan this fall. In an effort to give back to the local community, the team will be volunteering at local schools and non-profit organizations as well as attending events on campus.
"We are, once again, looking forward to giving back to a community that means so much to our program," said head coach Kristy Curry. "We really appreciate the support everyone gives us, so we are happy to devote some of our time off the court to being active in Tuscaloosa."
The Crimson Tide will make its first stop on Saturday, working the registration area at the Walk to End Alzheimer's at Snow Hinton Park. Additional events are listed below and more may be added throughout the season.
There will be more information leading up to the events, as well as brief recaps and photo galleries following each stop along the way.
Season tickets for the upcoming season are currently available and can be purchased online at RollTide.com/Tickets, by phone at 1-877-TIDETIX (843-3849) or at the Alabama Ticket Office, located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum. Mini plans and single-game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 8 a.m. CT.

October 3: Walk to End Alzheimer's at Snow Hinton Park -- Working the registration area
October 8: University Programs Family Feud -- Come watch the women's basketball team play family feud with the baseball team at the Ferguson Student Center
October 12: Season Ticket Calls -- Be ready to receive a phone call from our women's basketball about the upcoming season. Calls will start around 1 p.m.!
October 13: Tuscaloosa Chamber Business After Hours -- Join Assistant Coach Shereka Wright at the Tuscaloosa Chamber Business After Hours event at the Digital Media Center from 5-7 p.m.
October 19: Season Ticket Delivery -- Be on the lookout for players and coaches to stop by between 6-8 p.m. and deliver your women's basketball season tickets.
October 24: Football Autograph Signing -- Visit the women's basketball team at the autograph tent and meet the team before the start of the football game.
October 26: SAAC Halloween Extravaganza -- Student-athletes and coaches will be helping out with the Halloween Extravaganza. Make sure to stop by and see the team!
