Baseball Cancels Friday, Jan. 23 Scrimmage in Hoover

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Due to the threat of inclement weather on Friday, the Alabama baseball team has postponed its Friday, Jan. 23, scrimmage at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The team will also postpone its media day in Hoover until a later date.
With a chance of rain for most of the day, the Alabama baseball team will remain in Tuscaloosa for Friday’s practice. All team activities for Saturday will remain as planned.
On Saturday morning, Coach Gaspard and select players will deliver season tickets to Alabama fans across Hoover and its surrounding cities. Following the ticket delivery, the team will scrimmage with first pitch at 1 p.m. CT. Admission is free to all Alabama baseball scrimmages conducted each of the next three weekends while the team prepares for its season opener on Friday, Feb. 13 against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
