SEC Releases 2015 Softball TV Schedule

TUSCALOOSA, Ala . - The Southeastern Conference has announced its televised slate of 2015 softball games and defending SEC Champion Alabama is set to appear 12 times during the regular season on the ESPN family of networks.
Five home games and seven road contests will air on the ESPN family of networks, which include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the SEC Network. Additionally, every Alabama home game and select SEC road games will be streamed live on the SEC Network +, which is available online at WatchESPN.com or on mobile devices via the WatchESPN app.
A full listing of Alabama's 2015 TV games is below. Overall, the ESPN family of networks are set to air 76 regular season games featuring SEC softball teams along with 227 games produced as digital exclusive broadcasts for the SEC Network + platform.
ESPN will also carry the entire 2015 SEC Softball Tournament, with first round (Wednesday, May 6) and quarterfinal (Thursday, May 7) games on the SEC Network, semifinal games (Friday, May 8) on ESPNU and the SEC Tournament Championship (Saturday, May 9) on ESPN2.
This year's SEC Tournament, which will be held at LSU's Tiger Park in Baton Rouge, La., has also been expanded from 10 teams to 12 teams. This means that four first round games will now be played on Wednesday, May 6 prior to the four quarterfinal games on Thursday, May 7.
Brickyard season tickets are now on sale and fans can purchase them online at rolltide.com/tickets or via phone by calling (205) 348-BAMA. Single game tickets are set to go on sale on Feb. 2. Alabama opens its season on Thursday, Feb. 5 at South Alabama (6 p.m.). The Crimson Tide's home opener will be on Friday, Feb. 20 against Michigan (4 p.m.) and James Madison (6 p.m.) at the Easton Bama Bash.
