Women's Tennis Heads to Furman Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama women's tennis team heads to Greenville, S.C., this weekend for the 28th annual Furman Fall Classic, a tournament that features six teams that were ranked in the top 34 of the final ITA Collegiate Tennis rankings.
Teams from Vanderbilt, Clemson, South Carolina, Iowa, Florida State and Tennessee will face off against the Tide. The three-day tournament will feature both singles and doubles draws.
The Crimson Tide will be represented by five of its nine members, including freshmen Bennett Dunn and Aryn Greene, sophomore Carmen Blanco, and seniors Luicelena Perez and Emily Zabor.
The tournament will start with doubles play at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, followed by singles action at 1 p.m. ET. Play will continue on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. ET each day.
