Crimson Tide Continue Ohio State Prep in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - The top-seeded Alabama football team continued it preparations for its 15th Allstate Sugar Bowl appearance with its 11th bowl practice Monday afternoon in shells inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Before practice, offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and members of the Alabama offense met with the media at the Offensive Press Conference in the New Orleans Convention Center Marriott. Following its two-hour practice, the team left the facility to visit with patients at a local children's hospital.
The entire Alabama football team will meet with the press for an hour Tuesday morning at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as part of the College Football Playoff Media Day. On Thursday, Jan. 1, the Crimson Tide will face off against the fourth-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, with the winner earning the right to play for the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, Jan. 12, in Arlington, Texas.
Following the hospital visit, the Crimson Tide will have a team dinner at a local New Orleans steakhouse. Alabama will hold its final full practice prior to the game on Tuesday afternoon with a walk through scheduled for Wednesday.
