Men's Basketball Practice Report

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - With exactly two weeks remaining before the Alabama men's basketball team tips off the 2014-15 regular season, the Tide continues to work hard in preparation for the Nov. 14 season-opening contest vs. Towson.
Head coach Anthony Grant, freshman guard Justin Coleman and sophomore forward Shannon Hale each took time to speak with RollTide.com prior to Friday's practice to discuss how the preseason camp has been going and what fans can expect as the season quickly approaches.
Grant praised his team's camaraderie and focus during the first several weeks of practice, while also commenting on continuing to work hard and get better.
"The guys are working and every day we are trying to get better," Grant said prior to Friday's practice. "Right now we are dealing with some minor injuries but for the most part I have been pleased with what they are giving on a daily basis. My challenge for our guys is to get a little better every day."
Alabama will have an exhibition game on Monday, Nov. 10 vs. Montevallo (7 p.m. CT) before opening the season with three consecutive home contests. The Tide will first welcome Towson on Nov. 14 and Western Carolina on Nov. 17 as part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic, followed be hosting defending Conference USA co-champions Southern Miss on Nov. 20. All three games will tip off at 8 p.m. CT.
