Rowing Heads to the Dale England Cup

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama rowing team will head to Bloomington, Ind., to compete in the fifth annual Dale England Cup on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, at Riddle Point Park on Lake Lemon. Racing will begin at 3:30 p.m. CT, on Friday and 7:30 a.m. CT on Saturday.
The University of Indiana's rowing team will host the fifth annual Dale England Cup on Lake Lemon. The competition is scheduled to include Indiana, Notre Dame, and Iowa. This will be the first time the Tide has competed in the Dale England Cup.
The Crimson Tide is coming off of a strong performance at the Knecht Cup Regatta, two weeks ago. The Alabama rowing team took a win in the Second Novice 8+ with a finish of 7:49.59 over UMass and North Carolina, and a third place finish in the Second Varsity 8+ to trail ODU and first place Buffalo.
Alabama will return to the water on May 17th when the Tide will compete in the Conference USA Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
