• Alabama and LSU met for the 169th time in series history, making the Tigers the third-most common opponent in UA program history. The Crimson Tide now owns a 102-67 lead in the all-time series and has now won six of the last seven games over the Tigers, and 11 of the last 14 overall.
• Alabama has won nine straight games over LSU in Coleman Coliseum. The last time the Tide lost to the Tigers at home came on Jan. 31, 2004.
• Trevor Releford had two steals and moves into a tie with former UA great Mike Davis into fourth on the school's all-time steals leaders (165).
• With 12 points on the night, Releford became the 42nd player in program history to reach 1,100 points in his career (1,104).
• Alabama held LSU to 57 points on the night. It marked the eighth straight opponent that the Crimson Tide has held the opposition to less than 60 points.
• Sophomore guard Trevor Lacey is the only player to have started every game on the year.
• Sophomore forward Nick Jacobs finished with 15 points on the night. When he scores eight or more points in a game this season, Alabama owns a record of 6-1 on the year.
• Alabama has now held 15 of its 23 opponents this season, and eight straight SEC teams, to 60 points or below in a game. The Tide has a record of 11-4 when achieving the feat. In four seasons at UA under head coach Anthony Grant, the Tide has held teams to 60 or fewer points a total of 67 times, going 54-13 (.803) when achieving the feat
• When looking at the numbers, there is no doubt fifth-year senior guard Andrew Steele plays a key factor for Alabama this season. The lone senior on this year's team missed seven games recovering from a sports hernia. Over that span, the Tide went 2-5. However, UA is 13-3 when Steele has suited up this season, with all three defeats coming on the road.
