Football Reaches Midway Point of Game Week Prep

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 1 football team continued its preparations for this week's primetime matchup with No. 10 LSU, practicing for two hours on Wednesday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. Saturday's game is slated to kick off at 7 p.m. CT in Bryant-Denny Stadium and will air live on CBS.
The contest between the Crimson Tide and Tigers has been selected as the Davey O'Brien Quarterback Award Marquee Matchup of the week as it features semifinalists in Alabama's AJ McCarron and LSU's Zach Mettenberger. McCarron was also named a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award earlier in the day.
