Crimson Tide Holds First Practice of the Bye Week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The top-ranked Alabama football team returned to the fields on Tuesday afternoon, holding its first practice of the bye week in shells at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The Crimson Tide will have two additional practices this week and will return to its game-week routine on Monday, Nov. 4.
Earlier in the day, C.J. Mosley was named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award, while AJ McCarron was one of 16 named to the Maxwell Award semifinalist list. The Bednarik Award, in its 19th year, is given to the outstanding defensive player of the year and the Maxwell, in its 77th season, to the collegiate player of the year.
