TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Throughout the preseason, RollTide.com will conduct a Q&A with a member of the Alabama men's basketball team. In this third installment, Shannon Hale did a question and answer session from Coleman Coliseum on Oct. 11.

Hale is a freshman from Johnson City, Tenn., who was rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and ESPN.com coming out of Christ School (N.C.). He averaged 17.1 points and 6.0 rebounds a game as a senior on his way to first team all-state and conference player of the year accolades.

Hale hopes to make an immediate impact with the 2013-14 squad.
