Women's Volleyball Season Tickets on Sale Now

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Season tickets for the 2012 Alabama women's volleyball team are on sale now. For the second year, the Crimson Tide returns to renovated Foster Auditorium for a 16-game home slate, beginning Aug. 28, against Alabama A&M.
"We are excited to return to Foster Auditorium to play in front of dedicated fans that bring a thrilling atmosphere to this great facility," second year head coach Ed Allen said.
Full season ticket packages are $35 and can be purchased online through RollTide.com or by calling the Alabama ticket office at 205-348-2262 or toll free at 1-877-TIDETIX (843-3849). Beginning with the 2012 season, all seats in Foster Auditorium for women's volleyball matches will be general admission.
"As we continue to build the Alabama volleyball program, our focus is to increase the energy, fan engagement and home court advantage," Allen said. "To do this, we are moving to a general admission seating plan, where all season tickets and individual game tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe this will help make Foster Auditorium one of the loudest and most intimidating venues in the country for opponents to play."
UA fans will have the opportunity to enjoy 23 women's volleyball matches in Foster Auditorium this season, which includes 10 matches of the Hampton Inn Bama Bash on Sept. 7-8. Alabama opens the tournament against Lamar, before battling Austin Peay, Alabama State and East Tennessee State, respectively, in the two-day event.
After a non-conference match against in-state foe Samford on Sept. 11, the Tide will play 10 home matches against Southeastern Conference opponents, beginning Sept. 14, against LSU at 7 p.m. Additionally, fans will have a chance to watch the Tide battle new conference members Texas A&M (Sept. 30) and Missouri (Oct. 7).
Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Aug. 27, with all single match general admission prices at $5, and free for UA students with their ACTion card.
