HOOVER, Ala. - Select members of the Alabama football team, along with head coach Nick Sabantraveled to Hoover, Ala., Thursday morning to participate in the 2012 Southeastern Conference Media Days. Media members from across the country gathered at the Wynfrey Hotel for the event.
Saban was joined by Barrett Jones, Damion Square and Michael Williams. Included in the players' schedules were multiple individual radio and television interviews, as well as large press conferences with print, digital and television media.
Along with just over 1,000 credentialed media members, more than 200 Alabama fans packed the lobby of the Wynfrey to greet Saban and the Tide players.
The Tide starts its season Saturday, Sept. 1 in Arlington, Texas against Michigan, at Cowboy Stadium in the Cowboy Classic. Kickoff for the game is slated for 7:00 p.m. CDT and will be televised ABC.
