Men's Basketball Adds Exhibition Game With UAH

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The University of Alabama men's basketball team has added an exhibition contest with the University of Alabama-Huntsville on Nov. 7 to the 2011-12 schedule. The exhibition between the Crimson Tide and Chargers is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff in Coleman Coliseum.
The two programs played an exhibition game last season with the Tide outlasting a talented UAH team, 73-68, in overtime. Veteran UAH head coach Lennie Acuff's team went on to post a 29-5 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight while the Tide earned a 25-12 record en route to an appearance in the National Invitation Tournament championship game.
The Tide's regular season tips off on Nov. 11 when North Florida visits Coleman Coliseum.
