Registration for Fall and Winter Baseball Camps Available Now

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - After a successful summer camp season, Alabama baseball will hold fall and winter camps beginning Sept. 26 and running through Dec. 11. Three different camps are available during the fall and winter seasons to offer something for players of all ages.
The fall baseball camp season gets underway on Sept. 26 with the Monday Night Hitting Camp. The camp runs for five consecutive weeks and ends on Oct. 26. The camp, which is limited to 25 hitters, allows for an hour and a half of hitting and instruction each Monday, and is a great opportunity to get one-on-one instruction from the Alabama coaching staff. Hitters from the seventh through 12th grade have an opportunity to get better in the off season, while hitting in the cages and on the field at Sewell Thomas Stadium.
The Youth Christmas Camp is one day of instruction for kindergarten through seventh grade players. During the Dec. 10 camp, players will get instruction for all aspects of baseball, while learning how baseball is played at Alabama from its players and coaches.
The Christmas Showcase and Games Camp will be held in the afternoon on Dec. 10, and all day Dec. 11. A pro-style workout on Dec. 10, will have each athlete run, throw from their position and take batting practice at Sewell Thomas Stadium. Day two is GAME DAY. Each player will participate in two games, with one of the two being at Alabama. Many times there are other college and pro scouts at the Christmas Showcase and all members of the Alabama coaching staff will be present. This is not an overnight camp and each player will be responsible for their own housing.
