
Football Opens Season on the SEC Network

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team's Sept. 3 season opener against Kent State will be broadcast by the SEC Network with kickoff slated for 11:20 a.m. CT the Southeastern Conference Office announced today.
It will mark the eighth time in the past decade, and the second year in a row, that the Crimson Tide has opened its season at home. Alabama's 2011 season and home opener marks the first meeting between the two teams.
The league also announced that the SEC Championship game will air on CBS Dec. 3 starting at 3 p.m. CT
