2011 SEC Baseball Tournament Bracket
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama baseball team posted a 14-16 overall record in Southeastern Conference play and finished tied for second in the SEC Western Division with Auburn and Mississippi State. Based on the tiebreaker scenarios between the three teams, the Crimson Tide earned the seventh-seed in next week's SEC Baseball Tournament.
Alabama will take on the SEC Western Division Champions, Arkansas Razorbacks (15-15 SEC), in game one of the SEC Baseball Tournament. The Crimson Tide and the Razorbacks will square off at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25 from Regions Park in Hoover, Ala.
Alabama finished tied for second in the West Division with Auburn and Mississippi State. The Bulldogs, finishing 4-2 against UA and Auburn, take the six seed, the Tide finished 3-3 to earn the seven seed, and the Tigers were 2-4 to wrap up the eight seed.
There will be a Monday morning media teleconference featuring the eight coaches from the participating schools in the SEC Baseball Tournament.
