Baseball Game at Auburn Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

AUBURN, Ala. - Friday night's Southeastern Conference baseball series opener between Alabama and Auburn has been postponed due to inclement weather. The series will begin at noon on Saturday with game one of a doubleheader from Plainsman Park. Game two of the doubleheader will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
The first game of the doubleheader will be televised on CSS with Mike Morgan and Joe Beckwith calling the action. Alabama will start senior righty Nathan Kilcrease (5-4, 3.55) while Auburn will start junior right-handed pitcher Jon Luke Jacobs (1-3, 3.18). Game two will have junior lefty Adam Morgan (5-4, 3.84) starting for UA and the Tigers will counter with junior righty Derek Varnadore (5-2, 3.41).
Tickets for Saturday's game (No. 32) will be used for the noon game. The stadium will then be cleared and fans can re-enter using their Friday night tickets (No. 31). All chairback tickets are sold out, but terrace seats are still available for both games at $5 each.
