TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The University of Alabama men's basketball team continues its Southeastern Conference schedule on Wednesday evening when it hosts Mississippi State in the second meeting between the two programs this season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum with the contest being televised on SEC Network affiliates and via radio by the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
The Crimson Tide has won eight of its last nine games after defeating LSU, 70-46, on Saturday evening to improve to 13-7 overall and an SEC-best 5-1 in league play.
In the first meeting with MSU this season, Alabama departed Starkville with a 75-57 win. However the Bulldogs are coming off a 71-64 win over Florida on Saturday that saw Dee Bost score 24 points.
"Mississippi State is coming in after a big win at Florida and is probably playing their best basketball of the season," UA head coach Anthony Grant said. "What stands out to me is the way they can attack you with different guys who can score the ball."
Alabama will aim to remain perfect at home and is 11-0 this season after Saturday's win in front of a sellout crowd. Another large crowd is anticipated for Wednesday's game with approximately 2,000 tickets available for the contest.
"Another advantage for us is the atmosphere that has been created here in our building," Grant said. "Our guys take pride in that and the support that we're getting. Certainly we're going to need a good crowd here Wednesday night."
The game is also the first of three in the SEC West Ticket Pack that includes games against Mississippi State, Mississippi and Auburn for $45, a savings of $15 off the face value. Tickets are avaialble by clicking here or calling 1.877.TIDETIX.

The Bulldogs are averaging 69.3 points per game and have scored 73.5 points in its last four games to go 2-2 in that span.
