
Baseball to Play Final Intrasquad Friday Night Under the Lights

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Friday, Nov. 4, will mark the end of the fall practice schedule for the Alabama baseball team. For the final practice, the Crimson Tide will play its 19th intrasquad contest with a 5:45 p.m., first pitch on Friday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. At the seven-inning Crimson and Grey Game, fans will have the opportunity to walk away with autographs from their favorite UA baseball players, as well as winning authentic Alabama baseball team gear.
Like all games during the fall, admission is free for all fans wanting get a last look at the full 44-man roster, before the final 35-man roster is selected. Friday night’s game will be the third of the week for Alabama, which will also hold free admission intrasquad games on Wednesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
During the Crimson and Grey Game on Friday, fans will have the opportunity to win crimson and camouflage Alabama baseball hats, a team autographed Nike bat, an Alabama baseball shirt, and one free winter and one free summer youth baseball camp invite. One prize will be awarded during the top half of each inning.
Fans will have two opportunities to get an autograph from their favorite UA baseball players this weekend. Throughout the intrasquad on Friday, team members will be available to the fans for autographs. On Saturday, the entire Alabama baseball team will sign autographs On the Quad from 4:30-5 p.m., prior to the start of the Alabama-LSU football game. Additionally, the Friday baseball game will be part of the evening festivities surrounding the Alabama versus LSU football.
The 2012 Crimson Tide baseball season begins on Friday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m., with game one of a three-game series against Florida Atlantic at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Fans can register for 2012 baseball season tickets by logging onto RollTide.com/tickets.
