
Frederick and Rogers Garner NSCAA South Region Academic Honors

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama seniors Victoria Frederick (Huntsville, Ala.) and Brooke Rogers (Cincinnati, Ohio) were named to the NSCAA Scholar All-South Region team. Frederick garnered second team honors while Rogers was named to the third team.
Frederick earns the academic honor for the second straight season. The forward posted a 3.57 GPA in Biology. Rogers, who earned CoSIDA All-District academic honors this season, nabbed the NSCAA accolade for the second straight season. The target forward posted a 3.86 GPA in finance.
On the field, Frederick put together a career season as she finished tied for the team lead with 14 points. The Huntsville, Ala., native scored four goals and led the team with a single-season, career-best six assists. Her six helpers were one off the single season record at Alabama. During conference play, the fleet-footed forward led the team with 11 points on three goals and five assists.
Rogers put together a career season on the pitch as well. The senior was tied for the team lead with 14 points on a team-best seven goals. The forward led the Tide to back-to-back victories to start the season, scoring the game-winner in the season opener and SEC opener against Mississippi.
