Season Tickets on Sale for Upcoming Alabama Baseball Campaign

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - - Season tickets for the 2011 University of Alabama baseball season are available now, with ticket prices beginning at $75.00 for the 33-game home schedule. The season begins on Friday, Feb. 18 against Alcorn State at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
One of the best baseball ticket values in the Southeastern Conference, all chair back seats will be $125 for the season - a cost of under four dollars per game. Additionally, all reserved grandstand seats will be general admission, at a fan-friendly price of $75.00 ($2.27 per game). Senior citizen prices are $65.00 for both chair back and general admission.
Second year head coach Mitch Gaspard his staff of former Alabama All-Americans Dax Norris and Andy Phillips, who returns to Alabama after a six-year Major League Baseball career, look forward to an exciting season of Alabama baseball in 2011. The Crimson Tide return 15 players from last year's NCAA Super Regional squad. Included in the returners are all-American centerfielder Taylor Dugas, and pitchers Adam Morgan and Nathan Kilcrease, who anchor a talented pitching staff that includes eight returners from last season's 42-win team.
Highlighting the 2011 home schedule are SEC series against the past two national champions. The Tide hosts 2009 National Champions LSU on May 6-8, and two weeks later, 2010 National Champions South Carolina comes to "The Joe" on May 19-21.
Promotions that will run throughout the season include $1 Bryan Hot Dog Day every Tuesday and Wednesday night, SEC Friday Night Fireworks during conference play, and Sundays are All Kids Day at the Park, where kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge and can run the bases following the game.
