Women's Basketball Spends Time in the Community

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Several members of the women's basketball team have been active in the community this summer volunteering as coaches for an 8U coed basketball league put on by the Tuscaloosa Park and Recreation Authority. Included in the group are seniors LaToya King, Tierney Jenkins and Varisia Raffington, juniors Carmen McCoy, Kayla Robinson and Ericka Russell and sophomore Celiscia Farmer. The Crimson Tide student-athletes help out with two practices a week and games during the weekend. Click on the gallery above to see photos of the Tide in action.
