Ashley Willis (Pride Predators U20) / Kendall Khanna (Colorado Rush)
Rising sophomore defender Ashley Willis and incoming freshman forward Kendall Khanna squared off against each other in the Colorado U20 league. Khanna's Rush team got the better of Willis' Predator side with a 4-0 victory. Khanna gave Willis a glimpse of the attacking mindset she will bring to the Crimson Tide this fall as she collected a ball at the top of the box, turned and finished a ball upper-90 from 20 yards out. Willis' team will seek redemption in the rematch against the Rush on June 17.
Justine Bernier (Toronto Lady Lynx)
The All-SEC and Canadian International goalkeeper played a full 90 minutes and registered 15 saves in a 1-1 tie against the Rochester Rhinos Women. The Lynx will next face Quebec City on Sunday, June 6.
Victoria Frederick (Seattle Sounders Women)
Senior forward, Victoria Frederick, played 90 minutes in her debut with the Sounders in a 1-1 tie against the Colorado Force. The Sounders continue the W-League season on Friday, June 4 in a rematch against the Force.
Kylee Brown (Utah Avalanche 91 Premier)
Redshirt freshman forward Kylee Brown's Utah Avalanche 91 Premier team, coached by Gabe Smart, got a wild card slot to the Region IV Regionals by reaching the finals of the Utah State Cup. The Avalanche won both of their round robin games including a 3-2 victory over their rivals and eventual state champions, Black Diamond.
Ellie Smith (CESA 92 Premier)
Freshman Ellie Smith took her experience as an early Spring enrollee at the Capstone back to her U17 club team as they competed in the PDA Showcase over Memorial Day. After a slow start, CESA finished with a 1-1-1 record with Smith registering a goal and an assist in the final match of the weekend.
