TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama men’s basketball team's incoming signing class boasts two student-athletes ranked in the top 100 in the class of 2010 by Scout.com making the Crimson Tide just one of five programs in the Southeastern Conference to ink multiple members of top 100. Additionally, Alabama is one of seven programs in the league to sign a top-100 talent.
Trevor Releford and Charles Hankerson, Jr., both of whom signed in the early period with UA, are ranked in the top 100 with Releford ranked 50th and Hankerson checking in at 100.
Only Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida joined Alabama with two or more top-100 players in the current recruiting class. LSU and Arkansas each have a single top-100 player signed for the 2010-11 season.
Releford and Hankerson are joined in this year’s recruiting class by Kendall Durant and Jason Carter who signed with the Crimson Tide this week.
