
Soccer Prepares for Two Matches Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama soccer team will play a pair of matches on Saturday to continue its spring season. The Crimson Tide will face Georgia State in the late morning at 11:00 a.m. and then host Mississippi State at 4:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
Alabama enters the weekend with a stellar 3-1-1 record. The Tide's only loss of the spring came in the backend of a doubleheader in Birmingham against UAB. The Tide has earned wins over Vanderbilt, North Alabama and Samford.
After five spring matches the Alabama Golden Boot is still up for grabs. Victoria Frederick paces Alabama in scoring with three goals and an assist. Brooke Rogers closely follows with two goals and an assist while Rosaly Petriello and Lindsey Sillers each have one tally apiece. Petriello also leads the team with two helpers.
