
Morgan and Dunne Named to Preseason All-SEC Squad

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference unveiled its third annual Preseason All-SEC team to highlight the upcoming season of SEC softball. Alabama had two players named to the squad as senior Charlotte Morgan and junior Kelsi Dunne nabbed the preseason honor.
Alabama's Morgan and Georgia's Alisa Goler were unanimous selections. Morgan, and Mississippi State's Chelsea Bramlett are making their third consecutive appearance on the Preseason Team, while Florida's Aja Paculba and Francesca Enea, Mississippi's Lauren Grill and Alabama's Dunne are making their second consecutive appearances on the team.
The coaches preseason All-SEC team consists of a minimum of 12 players. Each SEC head softball coach voted for four infielders, four outfielders, two pitchers, one catcher and one designated player/utility player. No ties were broken.
In a class-by-class breakdown, the upper classmen reign on this year's list. Six seniors and six juniors compile the team, marking the first time no sophomores were selected. A complete list of the 2010 SEC Softball Coaches Preseason All-SEC team follows:
