
Brooke Rogers Named to SEC Soccer Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Alabama senior forward Brooke Rogers was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday. The honor is the second in as many years for the target forward.
The Cincinnati native volunteered countless hours in the Tuscaloosa community. Rogers spent time at the Glen Haven Retirement Home and was a regular at local schools. She participated in Read Across America and volunteered at Bryant Middle School where she helped at gym class.
She also participated in the after school club at Tuscaloosa Magnet School, worked at the Power of Pink basketball game and helped raise money for Project Angel Tree. Rogers participated in Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society and Project Angel Tree.
On the field, Rogers put together a career season. She tallied a career-best 14 points on seven goals. The 14 points was tied for the team lead and her seven goals paced the squad. Rogers capped off her career at Alabama with 36 points on 15 goals and six assists.
