AUBURN, Ala. - Holding a 1-0 lead with just 17 seconds left in the match, Auburn evened the score and then tallied the game-winner three minutes into overtime to earn a 2-1 win and end Alabama soccer's season. After the loss, the Crimson Tide concludes the season 8-8-2 overall and 3-6-2 in Southeastern Conference play.

After tying the score with 17 seconds left in regulation, the Tigers earned the victory and stamped its ticket to Orange Beach on an Ana Cate goal. Cate slipped behind the Tide defense and buried the game-winner off a Katy Frierson assist, her second of the match.

Alabama seized the early lead in the 12th minute when senior Victoria Frederick got the Tide on the board. Frederick fired a shot that hit off a Tiger defender and found net far post. The goal is her fourth of the season.

Auburn's Julie King headed home a Frierson free kick to even the score and send the match into overtime. The goal was the third of the season for King.

The .500 finish is Alabama's second in three years for the Tide under Bramble. Frederick ends the campaign tied for the team lead in points with 14 on four goals and six assists. Fellow senior Brooke Rogers caps off her UA career with 14 points on seven goals.
