Volleyball Season Tickets on Sale Now

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - With the start of the volleyball season a few short weeks away, season tickets can now be purchased through the Alabama ticket office for just $30.
At a little over $2 per match, fans can catch the Crimson Tide in action 14 times on its home court and help the team reach its goal of 250 season ticket holders. To purchase tickets, click here or call the Alabama Ticket Office at 205-348-2262.
"One of our ongoing goals is to keep growing in season ticket sales and recruit more and more fans to come support us," said head coach Judy Green. "We are indebted to the people who have been loyal to us these past two seasons. We've increased by a minimum of 25 percent each year, so it is our hope to reach that 250 mark in 2009."
In addition to securing early seating, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to take part in a pair of meet and greets with the Tide coaching staff and players currently scheduled for September 20 and October 30. In addition, season ticket holders will be able to stay on top of all the volleyball action by being added to the e-mail newsletter distribution list.
Of the 14 home matches, four will be against teams that advanced to the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Alabama returns eight letterwinners and five starters from last season's squad and welcomes five new players including a pair of high school all-Americans.
The Tide will kick off its home slate with a match against Alabama A&M on September 1 at 7:00 p.m. before hosting the Bama Bash September 4-5. The two-day tournament will feature Jacksonville State, McNeese State, SMU and Alabama.
