Soccer and Volleyball Entertain Media at Annual Gathering

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Members of the soccer and volleyball teams took part in the annual preseason media event on Wednesday that allowed various newspapers, television stations and radio stations to get a glimpse into the 2009 seasons. Representing the soccer team was Head Coach Todd Bramble, senior defender Alex Butera and junior midfielder Rosaly Petriello. In attendance for the volleyball team was head coach Judy Green, senior outside hitter Brooks Webster and redshirt freshman Leigh Moyer.
Following a brief meet-and-greet session reporters were able to sit and chat with each coach and student-athlete individually.
Soccer kicks off its exhibition slate Thursday, August 13 when it hosts Mercer at 5:00 p.m. at the Alabama Soccer Stadium. The first opportunity to see volleyball in action will be Saturday, August 22 at the Crimson/White Scrimmage. First serve is at 7:00 p.m. in the CAVE.
