
Nick Saban Addresses the Press at SEC Media Days Thursday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama takes its turn Thursday at the annual Southeastern Conference Football Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Ala.
Head coach Nick Saban and pre-season All-SEC selections, junior LB Rolando McClain and senior OL Mike Johnson, will make the rounds giving interviews to both local and national media in anticipation of the upcoming season.
"When you talk about the SEC, it's something that everyone in the country pays attention to," Johnson said. "It's an honor to represent the University and be here with Rolando and coach Saban. We're just trying to give a face to our team and our teammates today."
More than 1,000 credentialed media and numerous autograph-seeking fans have gathered at the Wynfrey for the three-day event. Alabama joins Florida, Georgia and Mississippi in the Thursday session.
Saban and the players will spend two hours making scheduled appearances with various media outlets including three a piece with different ESPN affiliates. After the scheduled interviews, the players will travel down radio row making stops for interviews with several local radio stations.
