TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama left fielder Taylor Dugas was named to the 2009 Collegiate Baseball Newspaper/Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Team, according to long-time publisher and college baseball historian Lou Pavlovich, Jr.
The Lafayette, La., native becomes the 15th Alabama player to earn freshman All-America accolades. He is the 13th freshman All-American selection for Tide head coach Jim Wells.
