TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama men's track and field team fell five spots to 39th this week in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I Men's Outdoor Track and Field Rankings which were announced on Wednesday.

There are currently 193 teams ranked in the Division 1 men's rankings.

The Southeastern Conference has all 11 men's track and field programs ranked among the top 51 in the nation.

The Crimson Tide was off last week and will compete at the 100th running of the Drake Relays April 23-25.

The 2009 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held June 10-13 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

More than 70 Crimson Tide student-athletes are slated to earn their degrees this weekend.
