Nicole Okolo Named to SEC All-Freshman Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference announced the 2009 SEC Indoor Track and Field honors Thursday and the Alabama women's track and field team was represented by Nicole Okolo.

Okolo was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team as she finished eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.55 at the SEC Indoor Championships.

Now, in only the second year's existence of the All-Freshman team, Alabama has had at least one athlete named to the team. Florida had the most athletes named to the freshman team with seven.
