Softball Contest Against Samford Rained Out

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama softball team will not be able to play its scheduled contest against instate rival Samford tonight as the game has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. will be made up at a later date.
Alabama has had four rain outs already but has made up a game by playing a doubleheader against Mississippi Valley State and will play a twin-bill against Georgia Tech on April 22. The Crimson Tide will once again hit the road for SEC play. UA will head to Gainesville, Fla. for a three-game weekend series against No. 1 ranked Florida. The two teams will open the highly anticipated series on Saturday, March 28 at 12:00 p.m. CT for the first of two games on the day. Alabama will wrap up the series on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
