Lynda Cooper broke her pole vault school record for the second time this season as she cleared a height of 13-1 1/2 to finish tied for sixth place.
Alabama will send Lynda Cooper in the pole vault, Chealsea Taylor in the high jump, Angelica Howard in the weight throw and shot put, and Kimberley Laing in the 60 meter hurdles to the Alex Wilson Invitational this weekend. They will be looking to improve their times and marks and qualify for the NCAA Championships in two weeks.
"This week, it's pretty much going to be a real easy week for all of them," Fowler said. "We need to get these girls lower on the national list to get in so they need to have restful week."
Alabama will compete at the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame on March 6 at the Loftus Center.
