Gymnastics Hosts Tide Tykes and Teens Sunday Afternoon

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Gymnastics team hosted some of its youngest fans, the Tide Tykes and Teens, to a rodeo-themed afternoon in its practice gym Sunday afternoon complete with roping, horseshoes and (wooden) horse races.
"Our fans, young and old, are such an important part of our program," Alabama head coach Sarah Patterson said. "Our ladies know they are very lucky to have such support and they enjoy the chance to meet and give back in this small way to some of our youngest fans."
The Tide Tykes and Teens is part of The Medalist Club, Alabama's booster organization. It is dedicated to Alabama Gymnastics fans ages three-years-old through eighth graders.
Alabama fans young and old will have another chance to see the Crimson Tide in action this Friday when they takes on LSU starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262), located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, or online at RollTide.com.
