
Four Gymnasts Earn Seven WCGA Regular-Season All-America Honors

Gabby Gladieux and Chloe LaCoursiere upped their career totals, while Kylee Kvamme and Azaraya Ra-Akbar picked up their first career recognition
PITTSBURGH – Alabama gymnasts Gabby Gladieux, Kylee Kvamme, Chloe LaCoursiere and Azaraya Ra-Akbar earned a total of seven regular-season All-America honors, the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced Monday.
Southeastern Conference champion Gladieux earned first-team honors on the floor exercise (9.955) and in the all-around (39.550). Kvamme's 9.930 NQS on the balance beam earned her second-team recognition. The nation's leader on the uneven bars, LaCoursiere earned first-team honors (9.965). SEC Freshman of the Year Ra-Akbar picked up first-team recognition on vault (9.930) and uneven bars (9.960), while also earning second-team honors on the floor exercise (9.935).
With the announcement, Gladieux's career total of All-America accolades increased to nine, while LaCoursiere earned her third career All-America nod and first of the regular season. Both Kvamme and Ra-Akbar notched their first career All-America honors.
In all, 84 gymnasts have combined to earn 405 All-America honors. That total includes championship All-America honors, as well as regular-season All-America recognition, which began in 2013.
Gabby Gladieux – Floor Exercise, All-Around
- Has a team-leading nine All-America honors for her career
- Regular season – 2024 – FX; 2025 – FX, AA; 2026 – FX, AA
- Championship – 2025 – VT, BB, FX, AA
- Ranked fifth nationally on the floor exercise (9.955 NQS), while also holding a top-two ranking in the Central region
- Ranked eighth in the all-around (39.550) and second in the Central region
- Has scored a 9.900 or higher on floor in 11 meets this season, including a current streak of eight straight
- Has competed in the all-around in all but one meet this year, posting a season-high score of 39.600 against Arkansas
- Has captured 12 event titles across floor (six) and all-around (six) this season
Kylee Kvamme – Balance Beam
- First career All-America honor
- Ranked 13th nationally on the balance beam (9.930), 10th in the SEC and third in the Central region
- Has scored a 9.900 or higher on beam in eight meets this season, including a career-high-tying 9.950 against LSU and at the SEC Championships
- Has captured a pair of event titles on beam this year
Chloe LaCoursiere – Uneven Bars
- Has three All-America honors for her career, the second-most on the team
- Regular season – 2026 – UB
- Championship - 2024 – UB; 2025 – UB
- Has led the nation on the uneven bars for nine straight weeks (9.965)
- Has scored a 9.925 or higher in 12 consecutive meets of her junior campaign, including a career-high 9.975 in four contests
- Has captured nine event titles on bars this season
Azaraya Ra-Akbar – Vault, Uneven Bars, Floor Exercise
- First career All-America honors
- Ranks seventh nationally, fifth in the conference and third regionally on vault (9.930)
- Has scored a 9.900 or better in six meets this season, including a career-high 9.975 twice against Arkansas and Kentucky
- Has captured three event titles on vault in 2026
- Ranks second nationally on the uneven bars (9.960), as well as second in the region and conference – behind only teammate LaCoursiere
- Has scored a 9.900 or higher on bars in 10 meets this season, including a perfect 10.000 against Illinois – the only freshman in the nation to achieve the score on the event
- Has captured six event titles on bars this year
- Ranks 11th nationally, sixth in the SEC and fifth regionally on floor (9.935)
- Has scored a 9.900 or better in nine meets this year, including a career-high 9.950 three times against Oklahoma, Kentucky and Georgia
- Has captured three event titles on floor during her freshman campaign
