TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Entering his second year at the helm of the Alabama soccer program, head coach Todd Bramble has announced the dates of four Alabama Soccer Academy camps that will take place on the University of Alabama campus this summer. Coach Bramble's summer programming is designed to serve the needs of players at a variety of levels.
The Day Camp is extremely popular in the community with younger players. The objective of the camp is to provide the perfect balance of working hard, improving skills, and having fun. Day Camp will be offered this summer from June 8 - 12 and is open to boys and girls ages 6-14.
A new session being offered this summer is the Technique Camp. The session's objective is to improve the player's technique under pressure through repetition of fundamentals. This is an overnight session for boys and girls ages 9-14 and will be held June 14-17.
Coach Bramble anticipates the Academy's two Elite sessions for girls will continue to be a major draw. These sessions are designed for competitive players who are serious about improving their game. These sessions will be offered from July 18-21 and July 23-26. Teams are welcome to attend either of these sessions.
"It's the quality of our staff," Coach Bramble said when asked why his camps have historically been so successful. "I have a core group of college coaches who have worked with me for nearly 10 years. They understand my expectations and how important their job is and they take pride in what they offer to our campers. I consistently receive positive feedback on our staff year in and year out and believe that's one of the main reasons campers keep coming back."
