Women's Basketball Hosts Annual Crimson & White Scrimmage

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The women's basketball team will play in its final exhibition tune up Sunday when it hosts its annual Crimson & White intra-squad scrimmage. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 p.m. (CST) in Coleman Coliseum.
"We are looking forward to another opportunity to be in game-type situations before we start playing our regular season," said head coach Wendell Hudson. "We've had an intense couple days of practice and are looking to make improvements from our game on Wednesday."
Admission to Sunday's game is free. Season tickets for regular-season games are currently on sale for $40 for the general public and $25 for University of Alabama faculty and staff. Single-game tickets are also on sale at the cost of $5 for adults and $3 for youth 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at Rolltide.com or by calling the Alabama Ticket Office at 1-877-TIDETIX (843-3849).
The Tide kicks off regular season action on Friday, Nov. 13 in the Islander Tip-Off Tournament in Corpus Christi, Texas. Alabama faces Tennessee Tech at 5:00 p.m. (CST) to open the four-team event. The Tide's home opener versus Jackson State takes place Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 5:30 p.m. (CST).
