TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama Athletic Ticket Office will begin selling season tickets on Friday, January 9.
The deadline for ticket renewals for existing season ticket holders has passed and the Athletic Ticket Office is now accepting new ticket orders for the 2009 baseball season at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The Crimson Tide tries to accommodate its diverse fan base by offering several different ticket options. As they have always been, season tickets are the best way to insure that fans can reserve the best seats in the stadium all season long. All lower chair backs are sold out for the 2009 season, but fans can still purchase upper chair back seats ($100 each) and grandstand seats ($75 each) for the Crimson Tide's 33-game home schedule.
There are several special season ticket packages designed to help families, UA faculty and staff as well as senior citizens. UA offers a grandstand group ticket for $225, which includes four tickets to every home game. The cost is $56.25 per person. The faculty staff ticket is $72 per seat, while the seniors pay $48 per ticket this season.
In addition, the Tide will offer two more special ticket packages this season. Fans can choose from the "Pick Ten" or "Friday Night" packages. The "Pick Ten" allows fans the flexibility of 10 weekend tickets for just $30. The "Friday Night" package is one ticket to all seven Friday home games for $21 per person.
Tickets may be ordered at the Athletic Ticket Office inside Coleman Coliseum Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased on-line at www.RollTide.com or by calling 1-877-TIDETIX (1-877-843-3849).
Alabama opens the 2009 season in six weeks as the Crimson Tide hosts Southeast Missouri State in a three-game series beginning Friday, Feb. 20 at 6:35 p.m. at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
