Divers Finish Strong at Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Alabama's women hit their stride on day three of the Tennessee Diving Invitational, claiming three spots in the top five off the platform.
Freshman Carrie Dragland led the charge, taking second place with 293.05 points. Junior Elzabeth Hughes was fourth off the platform with 259.05 points while sophomore Baylee Ellson took fifth with 241.85 points.
On the men's side of the meet, junior Aaron Fleshner closed out a highly successful weekend that included a pair of wins off the one and three-meter boards with a third place finish off the platform. The All-American scored 351.90 points.
The Crimson Tide divers return to the Tuscaloosa campus and will start classes for the spring semester on Wednesday. Alabama returns to action in two weeks when the swimming and diving teams face Southeastern Conference foes Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.
