Total Sports Offers Tide Fans Package at Maui Invitational

TUSCALOOSA - University of Alabama basketball fans can take a tropical vacation and cheer on the Crimson Tide when it plays in the EA Sports Maui Invitational. Alabama is one of eight teams that will compete in the November 24-26, 2008 tournament.
The University of Alabama's athletics travel provider, Carlson Wagonlit Travel/Total Sports Travel is offering Tide fans a travel package that includes roundtrip air via Delta Air Lines from Birmingham to Maui that will include the traditional flower lei greeting upon arrival. It includes airport poterage and roundtrip transfers. The package includes seven nights hotel accommodations and taxes at Alabama's team hotel, the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, as well as a general admission tournament ticket to three Alabama basketball games there. It also includes shuttle bus transfers from the hotel to the games. Package rates are $3,095 for double, $2,895 for triple, $2,785 for quad and $1,795 per child. Rates are per person occupancy. The travel dates are November 20-27.
